He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGrath and Adelene McGrath (MacGowan); and his brother Robert McGrath (Pamela) of Maine. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McGrath (Thackeray); and his siblings, John McGrath (Maureen) of Abington, Thomas McGrath of Abington, Barbara Dever (Paul) of North Easton, Daniel McGrath of Abington and Patricia Stone (James) of Whitman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home - Quincy (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Church (44 School St, Quincy, MA 02169). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blue Hill Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184).
