Ellen A. Butler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 78, Ellen A. Butler of Weymouth, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Regan and Catherine Regan (Walsh). She is survived by: her husband Robert B. Butler; her children, Cynthia Butler Loud (Richard) of Weymouth, Daniel Butler (Kristen) of Somerville and Corrie Bryda (Robert) of Hull; her siblings, William A. Regan, Jr. and Thomas A. Regan; her sisters-in-law, Roberta Regan of Florida, Judi Regan of Hopkinton, Charlotte Potter of Wakefield, Lillian Weiland (Howard) of Holliston, Joyce Butler (late Walter) of Woburn and Barbara Butler (late Norman) of Billerica; and her grandchildren, Cameron, Christopher, Matthew, Victoria and Nicholas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made for the establishment of the Ellen A. Butler Memorial Scholarship (https://www.gofundme.com) to benefit the students of Weymouth High School.
