Dorrie left this world on January 9, 2025 at the age of 60, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As Dorrie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dorrie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dorrie leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter W. Hirtle and Margaret "Peggy" Hirtle; her sons, Donn "DJ'Berry and Michael Berry; her husband Timothy "Timmy" Berry of Weymouth; and her siblings, Wally Hirtle, Julie Dellot and Jodie Toberer. She was also cherished by her children and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Homes (134 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
