He was predeceased by: his parents, Domiano P. Jara and Maria A. Jara (Gottig); his sister Graciela Jara of Argentina; and also, Ignacio Jara and Jorge Jara.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa R. Jara (Guerrero); his sons, Oscar A. Jara (Zuzana) of South Hamilton and Walter A. Jara (Kristen) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Skylar, Sydney, Tomas, Victoria, Alexandra and Lucas; and his pet Rosie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish in Saint Mary's Church (95 Crescent St, Quincy, MA 02169).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Oscar's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
