He is survived by: his spouse Demetria Makredes (Koumarianos); his child Maria Makredes; his siblings, George Makredes (Leona), John Makredes, Charles Makredes (Despina) and Nicholas Makredes (Joana); his sibling-in-law Michael Koumarianos (Catherine); and his nieces and nephews, Gary Makredes (Tatiana), Maryanne Senna (Joseph), Carolyn Finocchiaro (Mark), Joanne Salogiannis (John), Jim Koumarianos (Laura) and Elena Moreira (Germano).
