He was predeceased by: his siblings, Buddy, John Goodale and Dorothy Goodale; and his daughter Cynthia Philips (Goodale). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn H. Goodale (Erskine); his children, Deborah Zaza (Goodale), Robert Goodale, Jr., Pamela Tomsik (Scott Tomsik) and Mark Goodale (Stacey Goodale Devoted); his grandchildren, Kiersten Botelho (Matt Botelho), Devon Chandor (Douglas Chandor), Caroline Tomsik, Natalie and Benjamin Goodale; his great grandchild Robert James Botelho; and his siblings, Betty Jenner, Peter Goodale, Helen McDonald and Mary Cardello. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
