He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Lillis; and his parents, Joseph P. Lillis and Elizabeth Lillis (Damon). He is survived by: his wife Audrey A. (Haire); his children, Kerry J. of Walpole and Joseph P. (Amanda) of Boston; his brother Martin Lillis of Boston; and his grandchild Cameron J. Noonan.
