He is survived by: his parents, Charles Green and Martha Henrietta Banks (Siggelkow); his spouse Julia Ensign (Spencer); his son John Spencer Banks of Pittsford; his granddaughter Julia Palmer Banks Hauck of Westwood; his siblings, Charles Green Banks Jr. of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Sandra Palmer Banks Tucker of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Alison Spencer Banks, Parker James Banks, Caroline Sloane Hauck and John Allen Hauck III.
