He is survived by: his parents, Dorothy Whedon Bonnie of Louisville and Hugh John Caperton of Louisville; and his children, Daphne "Nomi" Stuart of Boston, Alastair Malise Gordon of Randolph, MA, Roderick Lawrence of London, England Fitzhugh, Christopher Gervaise Fitzhugh of Amsterdam and The Netherlands.
