He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pauline Churwin; his children, Jeffrey Churwin, Michael, Shari Churwin, Zadie of Hannah, Ashley and Julia; his parents, Edie Churwin and Danny Churwin; his sibling Beverly Kaufmann (Howie); his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Sam Gorfinkle; and his uncle Howie. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The Churwin family is grateful for the compassionate care Howie received from Care Dimensions, where memorial contributions in his memory can be made.
