She was predeceased by: her husband Murray; and her sister Ruth Goldfarb. She is survived by: her children, Mindy Elias (Lewis), Debbie Dworkin and Randi Silverman; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Jacob Cohen, Amy Elias, Samantha, Stephanie Dworkin, Jaymie, Danielle and Jordan Silverman; her sister Francine Stavis; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Schweitzer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Hadassah or Dana Farber Institute supporting Dr. Yurgelun's Hereditary Pancreatic Cancer Research.
