Fridel G. Byrnes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fridel G. Byrnes of Westwood, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Fridel G. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Fridel G. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Friedrick and Frida Mann (Ruthe); her husband Bernard Arthur Byrnes; and her sibling Harro Mann. She is survived by: her sons, Eric H. Byrnes (Dalila) of Walpole and Paul O. Byrnes (Mary Beth) of Walpole; and her grandchildren, Emily DeAndrade (Lucas) and Joseph Byrnes (Rachel).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Folsom Funeral Home (649 High St, Westwood, MA 02090). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (24 Berwick St, Norwood, MA 02062).
In lieu of flowers donations to the Fisher House, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132 or to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 24 Berwick Street, Norwood, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
