She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Peterson and Clara Peterson (Lewis) of Menasha, WI; and her siblings, Juliane, Clarence and Margaret.
She is survived by: her children, G. Paul Callahan Jr. Patricia Callahan (Elizabeth Hall) and Karen Callahan (David Rosen); her sister Edith Livingston; her sister-in-law Phyllis Callahan; her grandchildren, David Kramer, Henry Kramer and Caroline Cozzi; and her nieces and nephews, Juliane M. Harris, Thomas Patrick Harris, Rhonda Studer, William F. Callahan and Richard P. Callahan.
A long-time supporter of The Audubon Society and Save the Children Foundation, she also served as a docent, loved classical music and had acquired an encyclopedic knowledge of the celestial sky.
