He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi Benincasa and Paolina Benincasa (Antropoli); and his siblings, Antonina Giudicianni, Francesco Benincasa, Eufemia Tantini and Elisabella Benincasa.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Benincasa of Westwood, MA.; his daughters, Pauline Devito (Joseph) of Watertown, MA and Marie Synk (Peter) of Westwood, MA.; his grandchildren, Alicia Turner (Jeff), Vincent Tuccio, Sarah and Gabrielle Synk; and his sister Olga Gianfranchi. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Holden Dunn Lawler Funeral Home (55 High Rock St, Westwood, MA 02090). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Denis Church (157 Washington St, Westwood, MA 02090). An entombment was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Michael Cemetery (500 Canterbury St, Boston, MA 02131).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmen's memory to Heart Center at Boston Children's Hospital.
