He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grace Appel (Dinsmore) and Alfred Appel of Dedham; his sister Grace Morin (John Morin) of Destin, Florida.; his wife Jo Ann Appel (Potter); his children, Matthew (Amy Appel) of Westwood, Natalie (Gregg Lindsay) of Topsfield and Sarah Potter (Rich Kastriner) of Brookline; and his grandchildren, Caroline, Ryan, Katie, Drew, Luke and Jack.
