She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Hermann Knopp and Berta Knopp (Schega); her sons, Christopher and Stephen Pilot; her grandchildren, Kira, Juergen and Henry Pilot; her husband Herbert Pilot; her siblings, Franz Knopp, Maria Knopp (Borgs), Brigitte Knopp (Komocki), Werner Knopp and Gertrude Knopp (Diakun); and her parents, Eduard and Johanna Martha Knopp.
