The memory of Richard C. Alves Sr. of Westport, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine M. Alves (Perry); his parents, Camillo Alves and Jennie Alves (Rybka); and his siblings, Camillo Alves, Roger Alves (late Joan), Robert Alves (Maria) and Gene Alves (late Jacqueline).
He is survived by: his children, Keri Soares of Westport and Richard C. Alves Jr. (Arlene) of Dartmouth; his sisters, Barbara Tavares (late David), Carol Byron (Steve) and Sharon Weber (John); his grandchildren, Lauren Callahan (Jon), Connor Alves, Dylan Soares and Joya Alves; his great grandchildren, Summer and Jack Callahan; and his godchildren, Lynn Cree and Randy Byron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (569 Sanford Rd, Westport, MA 02790).
