She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice J. "Moe" Melanson; her son Gregory Melanson (late Diane); and her parents, Andrew T. Joyce and Virginia Joyce (Marchand). She is survived by: her daughters, Denise L. Martins (late Edward) of Westport and Susan A. Beck (Michael) of Acushnet; her grandchildren, Sarah Martins (Matthew), Rebecca Martins (Westley Gonzalez), Jennifer Sadeck (Jacob), Stephen Beck (Amy) and Matthew Beck (Fahlen); her great grandchildren, Lotus Beck, Jack Sadeck, Remy Saxson and Anna Sadeck; and her sibling-in-law Claire Melanson of Fall River.
