She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Dias and Leticia Dias (Sousa). She is survived by: her husband Alfred R. Lamothe; her children, Richard Lamothe (Ruth), Carleen Desrochers (Carl) and Wayne Lamothe; her brothers, John Dias, Wallace Dias and Raymond Dias; and her grandchildren, Ryan Desrochers (Irene), Morgan Eliason (Matthew), Cassey Monte (Nicholas), Bryan Lamothe, Lindsey Lamothe and Kayleigh Lamothe. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oliveira Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Service (2064 S Main St, Fall River, MA 02724). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (951 Stafford Rd, Fall River, MA 02721).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
