He was predeceased by: his brother Manuel Alves. He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Alves (Pacheco); his sons, David Alves of Fall River and Robert Alves (Penelope); his siblings, Octavia Ventura of Fall River and Laudalina Oliveira of Bristol; and his grandchildren, Faith Alves, Rachel Alves and Michael Alves. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
