He was predeceased by: his sibling Donald Winters. He is survived by: his sons, John A. Winters (Bailey) of Westport and James G. Winters (Robin) of Westport; his grandchildren, Dalton, Jane and Jameson; and his siblings, Connie Jennings and Ellie Lilley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
