She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Araujo and Mary Araujo (Pereira); and her daughter Cheryl Ann DeMello. She is survived by: her husband Henry DeMello; her children, Henry J. DeMello (Stacey) of Fall River, Tracy Burt of Fall River, Tom DeMello of Fall River, Kenneth DeMello of Fall River, Michael DeMello (Dionne Melo) of Westport, Kelly Zuber (Frederick) of Westport, Katie B. DeMello (Tom DePriest) of Westport, Danny DeMello of Westport and David DeMello (Kayla) of Acushnet; her grandchildren, Andrew, Mikey, Robbie, Madison, Kylie, Jayden, Benjamin, Dakota, Abbie, Matthew, Kaelyn, Boston and Quinn; her great grandchildren, Shelby, Morgan, Bentley, Braxton, Rowan and Greyson; and her sister Natalie Cabral (late Edward) of Billerica.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Church (12 Highland Ave, Westport, MA 02790).
