He is survived by: his wife Madeline M. McElroy (Rosa); his sons, Robert E. McElroy and Brian K. McElroy; his stepson Joseph E. Denny; his granddaughters, Jennifer J. DeMelo (Joshua) and Jessica J. Lewis (Larry); his great grandchildren, Dylan Ploude, Madison McElroy, Nicolas Lewis, Charlie Lewis, Amaya Costa, Briana Costa, Keith Costa and Cora Adams; and his stepbrother William Walkden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
