She was predeceased by: her spouse Kauku Samuli; and her parents, Albert Eastman and Hilda Eastman (Fredericksen). She is survived by: her children, John Samuli (Bette) of Palm Desert, CA and Diane Walters (John) of Townsend; and her grandchildren, Kathy Jenezon (James) of Pleasanton, CA, Eric Samuli (Julee) of Seeley Lake, Jayson Samuli (Kristine) of Pleasanton, CA and Rebecca Walters (Degory Brownell) of Kingston, MA.
