With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth B. (Burton) Adams of Westminster, Massachusetts, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on June 16, 2021 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Burton and Martha Burton; her siblings, Erdmund Burton, Charles Burton and Louise Nonemaker; and her granddaughter Chelsea Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Carl R. Adams, Jr. (Susan) of Westminster, Ruthanne Adams of Ocean Springs, MS, John Adams of Westminster, Janet Nikitas (Richard) of Westminster, Joseph Adams of Ocean Springs, MS and Laure Ciccolini of Westminster; her grandchildren, Sarah, Leslie, Meghan, Jake, Cheyanne, Caitlin, Jackie, Deborah, Andrea, Matthew, Gregory, Michael, Nicco, Isabella and Gabriella; her sister-in-law Marjorie Leandro of Nashua, NH; and her significant other Carl. She is also survived by friends, cousins and many nieces and nephews.
So many of her caretakers went out of their way and beyond the call of duty to personalize her care and to make her feel comfortable and loved, especially during the isolation caused by the pandemic.
