He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hughes and Irene Hughes; and his children, Stacie Bergeron (Robert Bergeron) and Marty Hughes (Nancy Hughes). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hughes (Cowling); his sons, Scott Hughes (Margaret Corini) and Mitchell Hughes (Andrea Hughes); his grandchildren, Cassie, Zachary, Nicholas, Connor, Carter and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Brody, Delali and Julian.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Roy's name to the Simond Sinon Regional Cancer Center, 275 Nichols Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
