He was predeceased by : his parents, Porter W. Dawley Sr. and Dolly Dawley (Ferguson) of Westminster. He is survived by : his son Porter W. Dawley III of Longview, WA.; his grandchildren, JuliAnna S. Dawley and Jack W. Dawley of Westminster; and his brother David Dawley of Hanover, NH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oakmont Regional High School Music Department.
