He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. O'Connor and Anne Marie O'Connor (Oswald). He is survived by: his wife Mary O'Connor (Lynch); his children, Mark O'Connor of Royalston and Kelly O'Connor of Templeton; his grandchildren, Isabelle O'Connor of Royalston, Kevin O'Conner of Royalston and Mary Shaw of Westminster; and his great grandchild Damien Riach of Westminster.
