He is survived by : his wife Celia J. Burgess (Leino) of Westminster, MA; his children, Joanna Allen (David) of Hubbardston, MA and Philip N. Burgess Jr. (Michelle) of Lawrenceville, NJ; his stepson Randall Bragdon (Jessica) of Westminster, MA; his brothers, Richard Burgess of Winchendon, MA and Howard Burgess of Athol, MA; his grandchildren, Benjamin D. Allen (Anna) of Westminster, MA, Victoria R. Allen of Hubbardston, MA, Alexandria Burgess of Lawrenceville, NJ, Melanie Burgess of Lawrenceville, NJ, Philip N. Burgess III of Lawrenceville, NJ and Owen Burgess of Lawrenceville, NJ; and his former life partner Ardeen S. Burgess of Hubbardston, MA. He is also survived by many friends, colleagues, and relatives.
