He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Jr. McGee and Mabel McGee (Lindsay). He is survived by: his wife Donna McGee (Dustin); his children, Michael McGee (Taylor Penning) of Fitchburg, Suzanne Richard (David) of Lunenburg and Sarah McGee (Gustavo Fuenmayor) of Boston; his brother Paul McGee of Weymouth; and his grandchildren, Grace of Lunenburg, Sean of Lunenburg and Brett Richard of Lunenburg.
