Kaarela of Westminster, Massachusetts, born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Eino Kaarela and Elsa Kaarela; his wife Janice Shirley Kaarela (Wuth); his son Attorney Edson E. Kaarela; and his close friends, Dr. Robert Rossi and Fred Smith.
He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa J. Kaarela of Tampa, FL and Kahren S. Hayward of Nobleboro, ME; his grandsons, Taylor K. Hayward of Westminster, Erik K. Hayward of Falmouth, ME and Kaari K. Hayward of Upton; and his great grandchildren, Rylee J. Hayward of Upton, Mackenna Hayward of Upton and Roy Hayward of Upton.
