He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther and Cliff. He is survived by: his spouse Orene LaFortune (Price) of Laurel; his children, Margot Flionis (Gregg) of Shrewsbury, Edward C. LaFortune III (Kim Slayton) of Westminster, Nicole Wiemeyer (Peter) and Elise Molloy (Richard) of Millis; his grandchildren, Sophia, Joseph Flionis, Anna, Ella LaFortune, Klaus, Oren, Reese, Elke Wiemeyer, Nora, Anya Molloy and Ethan Slayton; and his sister Sheila Fredette (Norman Fredette) of Fitchburg.
