She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas E. Patten; her parents, Mike Lockhart and Anne Lockhart; and her brother-in-law Martin Niemi. She is survived by : her children, Candi, Kola, Roxy, Lady and Rusty; her siblings, Kathleen Niemi, Mary Ellen Lockhart, Susan Albert (Joseph) and David Lockhart (Robin); her nephews, David Niemi (Lyn), Daniel Niemi (Brianne), Michael Lockhart (Marci) and Ross Albert (Laura); her niece Rachel Brophy (John); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ilias Niemi, Jake Brophy, Madison Lockhart, Kaylee Albert and Emma Brophy; and her friends, Cecile, Sarah and Ricky.

For anyone wishing to honor Carolyn's memory, donations can be sent to Beacon Hospice, 36 William St., Leominster or Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Ctr., 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner.
