He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy (Durand-Michaud); his son Leonard Stafford; his granddaughter Andrea Emond; and his parents, Levy Muise and Margaret Muise.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Lorraine M. Michaud of Lowell, MA; his children, Lou Stafford of Torrance, CA, Mark Stafford (Lisa) of Worcester, MA, John Laforme, Jr. (Teresa Argente) of Burbank, CA, Cheryl Bovill (late Russell Bovill) and Cynthia Driggers (Jason) of Litchfield, NH.; and his grandchildren, Sonya Emond, Amanda Agosto, Michael Parisi, Ashley Laforme, Katie Perez, Russell Bovill, Jr. and Dylan Driggers.
