He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy (Blair); his parents, Nicola Dota and Josephine Dota (Tortorella); and his siblings, Antoinette Marra (Dota) and Basilio "Buzzy" Dota.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Crump (Dota) of Brentwood, NH, Nick F. Dota of Billerica, Ronald Dota of Newport Beach, CA, Frank Dota Jr. of Worcester and Christopher Dota (Donna Gleeson) of Dedham; and his sister-in-law Patricia Ryan (Blair) of Great Barrington. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
