He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his siblings, Anna Fortune and William Doake; and his daughter Diane. He is survived by: his daughter Dodie Doake (Paul White); his grandsons, Raymond S Flagg and Alexander Mark Flagg; and his sister Florence. He is also survived by father and grandfather and will be missed not only by his family but his many friends.
