With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophia Deraleau of Westfield, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 13, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Paspatis and Tessie Paspatis (Neffsky). She is survived by: her husband Arthur Robert DeRaleau (Beach Roller Rink); her children, Michael (Carmen) of Yarmouth, MA., Marie A. Bovat (Steven) of Westfield and Nicholas E. (Barbie) of Nashua, NH.; her sister Coral A. Murphy of Yarmouth, MA.; her grandchildren, Naomi, Samuel and Elijah; her cousin Betty St. Pierre of Ludlow; and her parents-in-law, Claire Tatro, Helen Ensign and Edward DeRaleau (Lydia). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Because of her love for animals memorial donations may be made to the Westfield Homeless Cat Shelter or Dakin Animal Shelter.
