It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Eloise Tamashaitis of Westfield, Massachusetts, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chauncey Colby and Sarah Colby (MacGregor); and her husband Joseph Tamashaitis. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Hodges (Roland) of Indianapolis, IN. and Janet Sanuita (Raymond "Pete") of Southampton, MA.; and her grandchildren, Dustin King, Duane King, Brian Plante and Michelle Plante. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and other loving relatives.
