He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Cortis and Marion Cortis; his wife Gayle Cortis; and his children, Dawn LeVasseur (Kris), Shelly Graziano Ware (Tony), Roger Cortis Jr. and Betsy Cortis Belchertown. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
