Robert P. Hickson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert P. Hickson of Westfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hickson and Rose Hickson (Griffin); his siblings, Richard, Roger, Raymond Hickson, Ruth Barchard, Rosemary Eggleston and Regina Breglio; and his goddaughter Courtney Hickson.
He is survived by: his brother Ralph Hickson (Cimmie) of Rye, NH; his nieces and nephews, Michael Eggleston (Jessica) of Holyoke, Dawn DeVall (Sean) of Somers, CT, William Breglio III (Marianna) of Somers, NY and Katherine Breglio (Paul Hanney) of Yonkers, NY; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin, Savannah, Charlotte, Thomas, Daniel and Leila.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118). The military honors was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
Burial and Military Honors will be on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 9am at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut River Conservancy.
