He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Sr. Zyra and Jennie Zyra (Banel); and his sister-in-law Ann Schultz. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Schultz); his sons, Jeffrey (Katy) of East Windsor, CT, Gary of Westfield and Jonathan (Doris) of Sunderland; his grandchildren, Curt, Daniel and Savina Zyra; his brother Michael Zyra (Mary) of Westfield; his cousins, Irene Liquori, Josephine Hillios and Victor Banel; his nephew Kevin Schultz; and his nieces, Erica Johnson and Lindsay Taylor.
