He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Viola (Stannard); and his siblings, Murial, Phyllis, Allen, Bruce and Charles Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Neil Wheeler Jr. (Pat), Gary Wheeler (Mary), Marie Pease (Tim), Laurie O'Brien (Clyde) and Bill Wheeler; his brother Robert Burkholder (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Tony Anziano and Janice Wheeler; his close friend Leonard Alexander; and also Grace (Barr). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
