In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Modwyn leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Modwyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Scigulinsky and Evelyn Scigulinsky; and her sister Melissa Pendleton. She is survived by: her brother Frank Scigulinsky of Westfield; her husband Andrew Oleksak; her daughter Charlotte Oleksak; her son-in-law Richard Barus; and her grandchildren, Mary Evelyn Oleksak Barus, Sonny Oleksak Barus and Dylan Oleksak Barus. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Firtion Adams Funeral Home (76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the St Mary's Cemetery (203 Southampton Rd, Westfield, MA 01085).
