She was predeceased by: her husband David K. Bates; and her parents, Ulysses O'Connor and Irene O'Connor. She is survived by: her brothers, Donald and James O'Connor; her children, Brian Bates and Barbara; her son-in-law James Coughlin; her grandchildren, Shannon Bolduc, Neal Coughlin (Melanie) and Emily Donoghue (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Colin, Noah, Bella and Lillyanna.
