With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Theresa Batchelder of Westfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Konrad Stahl and Katharina Stahl (Kraus); and her siblings, Paula Schneider and Otto Stahl. She is survived by: her sisters, Anna Zitzelsberger of Augsberg, Germany, Ida Jackson of Greenville, IN, Emma Ziegler of Bad-Kissingen and Hildegard Nickl of Oberasbach, Germany.; her daughter Sonja Chenier; her husband Daniel Fedora of Westfield; her grandchildren, Lisa Lansing (David) of Huntington, MA and Daniel Fedora Jr. (Erin Kenney) of New Hartford, CT; and her great grandchildren, Shawn Lansing and Allister Fedora.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Maria's name to Baystate Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
