He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite T. Geehern (Gorman) and Joseph J. Geehern, Sr.. He is survived by: his brother Christopher P.; his sister-in-law Terese A. Geehern of Marstons Mills; his nephew Gregory J. Geehern of Princeton; and his niece Mary G. Lavoie (David P. Lavoie) of Freeport, Maine.
