He was predeceased by: his father John J. Smith, Sr.; his brother-in-law Albert Lemarier; and his nephew James Lemarier. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Helen Smith (May) of Westfield, MA; and his sisters, Laurel Meyers (Jason) of Agawam, MA, April Kimes of Palm Coast, FL, Suzanne Lemarier of Chester, MA and Linda McCorkindale (Donald) of Westfield, MA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
