He was predeceased by: his parents, James T Welch and Katherine Welch (Rogers); and his brother David Sharples. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Welch (Allen); his daughters, Stephanie Lampman (Alan) of Vermont, Jennifer Santor (Scott) of Vermont and Katrina Welch of Vermont; and his sisters, Dorene White, Mary Fisher of Westfield, Teresa Rowe and Ruth Bloking of Southwick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
