He is survived by: his wife Dolores MacFarlane (Carnute); his children, Lisa MacFarlane, Sandra Canterbury (Ralph) and John MacFarlane (Cindy); his grandchildren, Crystal Kennison, Colin and Kyle MacFarlane; his nieces and nephews, Barbara Stuber, Denise Burns, Kim Civello, James Bastien, Mark and Glenn Civello; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lambert and Peter Carnute, Jr..
