He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Johnson and Bessie Johnson; his wife Mabel Johnson (Emerson) of Southwick; his children, Ed (Sue) of Southwick, Judy Murphy of Montgomery and Paul (Jill) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Marissa Sharkey of Montgomery, Timothy Wolcott of Montgomery, Felicia Murphy (Timothy D'Astous) of Chester, Kevin Johnson (Megan) of Georgia and Austin Johnson of Texas; his great grandchild Reese Johnson of Georgia; and his brother Philip Johnson of Connecticut. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
